WVU College of Law Again Ranked as Top-100 School

Logue Law Group

I wanted to give a shout-out today to my alma mater, West Virginia University College of Law, which was recently (and again) recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top-100 law schools in the country. West Virginia University College of Law was ranked 94 (out of 198 accredited schools) in the magazine’s 2016 Best Graduate Schools guide.

In my experience at WVU’s College of Law, the professors not only were quality educators but also served as mentors. To me, there is a definite difference between a mentor and a mere professor. A mere professor teaches a course and cares about how well you – as a student – perform while enrolled. Luckily, at West Virginia University College of Law, I had plenty of mentors – professors who not only taught us case law and legal theory (and who cared deeply about how well we did in our coursework) but who also cared about us as people.

I’m sure I am not the only WVU College of Law alum who graduated and, years later, still keep in touch with some of the educators I forged relationships with while in school. Thanks in part to West Virginia University College of Law and my mentors there, I was able to learn the skills I needed to open my own firm – one that now has offices in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

I’m thankful for the education and personal touch I received from university – which now helps me help others as a criminal defense lawyer who represents clients facing everything from DUI charges to drug offenses to sex assault allegations. Thanks and congrats, WVU.

I had hired Mr. Logue a few years ago for my gf at the time for charges she had gotten before I had met her, for prostitution. Big mistake to date her and pay for her lawyer as we didn’t work out but Mr. Logue far exceeded expectations. He got nearly all charges in 2 separate cases dropped for her...

I was arrested on a felony 3 charge looking at at least up to 2 years in prison. County District Attorney didn't want to negotiate. After a lot of hard work, Sean was able to plead the case all the way down to just 90 days jail with a work release. Better deal than I realistically could have hoped...

Mr. Logue took our son’s cases on very short notice (the first lawyer we hired wasn’t getting anywhere with either of the prosecutors and had actually turned one of the cases over to the court-appointed attorney). We hired Mr. Logue to go to trial if needed, but he worked with both prosecutors and...
