Meeting a Criminal Lawyer: Things You Need to Prepare

When you are meeting your defense lawyer for the very first time, it is important for you to prep up well so that the procedure goes smoothly. To help you prepare we have written up some tips to keep in mind when meeting with an attorney.

Understanding the Role of the Attorney

For representing you in the best possible ways, your lawyer needs to get to know you, as a person and what you have been charged with. He should have an in-depth knowledge of your case so that he can present the case in a way which will work in your favor. He will also educate you about the criminal proceedings and answer any questions you have.

He will be asking you a few basic and factual questions such as contact information, full name, qualifications, employment, past criminal records and much more. He will also ask you questions in order to understand your character.

We hired Mr. Logue to go to trial if needed, but he worked with both prosecutors and...
